So one of my major projects last year was to complete a Harry Potter themed patchwork blanket/wall hanging. It is made from felt (fabric was way too expensive) and floss ... Oh and sequins and beads! I initially spent some time brain storming ideas with my, also Potter obsessed, hubby. There were soo many favourite moments and quotes and symbols -- it was easy!! ... Then off to the computer to print some inspiration images. Armed with some white tissue paper I traced parts of images I found, attached this to my felt pieces and stitched away ... Simple!
