I've been fortunate enough over the last couple of weeks to get in contact with a few lovelies who are obsessed with HP and crafty like me so we have started writing to each other... Its so exciting to get to know people from all over the world and I get to create these super cute envelopes and letters!!
So one of my major projects last year was to complete a Harry Potter themed patchwork blanket/wall hanging. It is made from felt (fabric was way too expensive) and floss ... Oh and sequins and beads! I initially spent some time brain storming ideas with my, also Potter obsessed, hubby. There were soo many favourite moments and quotes and symbols -- it was easy!! ... Then off to the computer to print some inspiration images. Armed with some white tissue paper I traced parts of images I found, attached this to my felt pieces and stitched away ... Simple!
