Envelopes

Ive recently got very into making my own envelopes. Its a lovely way to put an extra special touch to your mail. Ive been using them for penpals and birthday cards with lovely responses.

Ive made so many ive added some to my etsy shop -siriusstitchin.etsy.com please go and have a lookie... I would love to sell some :)

Hello lovelies

I've been fortunate enough over the last couple of weeks to get in contact with a few lovelies who are obsessed with HP and crafty like me so we have started writing to each other... Its so exciting to get to know people from all over the world and I get to create these super cute envelopes and letters!!

All was well

So this week the mugglenet Feb challenge comes to an end...  I've enjoyed it but will have a rest next month - a cartoon a day takes a lot of work!! ;)

This weeks filofax spread is yellow!! And features a weasley sweety sticker! I'm also very excited because my lovely friend picked me up some potter postcards from Warner Bros studio tour in Watford!! One of my favourite places! Not sure yet how I'm going to use them - right now I'm just happy staring at them all :) keep geeking!! Xxx

Lets continue Potterheads

So I'm still carrying on with the mugglenet challenge. Had some lovely comments from instagramers this week about the cartoon so really chuffed :) will miss this challenge when it's finished but I'm going going to start 100daysofhappiness ! Sounds like a wicked challenge and after I can scrapbook the pictures! Speaking of scrapbooking... I got my first La de dah album and am already in love. :) beautiful pages and I spoilt myself with accessories! Check out pics!!

Next week is pretty quiet but it feature on of my favourite bits from the movies... The knight bus!!

Mugglenet cartoons wk2

Floods!!

So Surrey UK has been hit very hard this last week and my hometown has not been spared! We have been surrounded by flooding with neighbours using boats to get out of their destroyed homes. We have been extremely lucky and our house has remained dry! The community spirit has been amazing and the army, police and firemen have been here everyday helping!

 

 

On a more creative note my harry potter stickers arrived and I am so pleased with them!! For like £3.50 on Amazon I got over 400 stickers (and most are perfect size for my filofax!!) So I clearly had to add the cutest PIC of Ron and Hermione to my valentines week spread!! PS guys do u really think harry and Hermione?? Personally I'd rather have seen a fling between Harry and Luna!!!! ;)

Filofax Jack

My new filofax Jack arrived this week and it is lush!! I also received my stickies and posties from etsy! I wasn't sure of my plan for the Jack but as soon as I started playing with it everything was transfered into it (it was just far to lovely not to use everyday!)
I'm STILL waiting for my Potter sticker book :( fingers crossed for this week!

More fandom filofax dividers

As you are aware I try to incorporate Harry Potter as much as I can into my daily life - one of the reason I love my job is there is a castle that looks like Hogwarts!! (And a HP society!! ) ... anyway my filofax is just a perfect excuse to extend this. Here are a few more of the dividers I made ...

This week after a serious lack of sleep I was sitting at my desk when I thought I heard the Hedwig theme tune ... I thought U have gone completely insane!! Well at least its a nice way to go ... After a few moments I realised it was actually playing (God knows why!) ... Phew what a relief!!!

Tragic

Sooo I've had the most traumatic of weeks. My poor pooch Boo ruptured his cruciate ligament and had surgery to put plates and bolt through to fix his knee. On Tuesday he came home but suffered post traumatic stress and had panic attacks for 36 hours and had to go back into hospital :( he's home now and sedated so much more relaxed - thank god and leg is healing well!! Little time to think of much else .... However here are a few bits I made ...

Still waiting for lots of orders - harry potter sticker book, cute bits from Japan and a new vintage union jack filofax!! Hurry up postman!!
